If the business is a success I plan on being the full-on coordinator for the first 6 years. Afterward, I will hire someone to take over the business, and if he/she runs it well enough, I will sell them the business with attached charities so I can continue to gain profits.
I have selected this particular exit strategy because I do not feel the need to work forever. I would like to enjoy my profits and start new businesses that would be beneficial to the community, continuing the trend I initiated with the first company.
I believe my exit strategy has no effect on the business because it would be after the fact. However, it would affect my investments in my future businesses. In the end, I will be a lot wiser when it comes to allocating my resources.
Hi Marco! I think that your exit strategy fits your product very well. Finding an exit strategy that works well for both you and the company is really important so it is great that you have found yours! I also liked your reasoning behind your exit strategy and think that a lot of people feel the same way, I know I also don't want to work forever. This was a great post!
