The general theme of the book is how to use social media to your advantage
The book enhanced my learning in ENT for its progressive and relevant information on how to "run a business" on different platforms.
The assignment I would make students do would be to sketch out an action plan for weekly content on any platform they would like. This would get the gears rolling and spark creativity.
The biggest surprise of reading this book is how simple it was. Literally a 60 year with the simple understanding of social media could benefit from the tips this book gives 10/10
Hi Marco! I read this book for my second reading assignment and really enjoyed it. I think that it provides great knowledge on social media for beginner users, as well as experts. I really love social media so I think that is also why I enjoyed it so much. I really like your assignment idea! I think that it would be a great way to encourage creativity and get to know social media platforms better. This was a great post!

ReplyDeleteAlthough I did not read this book for my assignment, your post gave me a general overview about what it was about. Social media has become of the largest platforms for advertising and almost every business venture has taken advantage of it. It is interesting to think about how we might use social media for our business proposals if we were to pursue them in the future. Your exercise for the class would be helpful as I personally have not thought about how I would use social media to benefit my business venture.
