assignment 22

The feedback I received was mostly positive in regards to the editing I did and sound selection. I went ahead and kept these same elemental aspects since I received good reviews for those reasons. It was important to stay consistent with the source material and what surprised me the most was the acceptance of the background audio. For this one, I added more effects. I can definitely do this if I really have to for a position or a product I needed to sell. For the product itself, it needs more planning.

Assignment 21

The book I read was "How to Fail at Everything and Still Win".
- The general theme or argument of the book was essentially how to become a better version of yourself. It did not really focus on external factors in your life but rather building a more efficient and proficient model citizen.
2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?
This book connected with the class for a multitude of reasons. The main one, however, was for the reasons of shaping yourself so you can be most efficient with your everyday lifestyle, ie, one's an entrepreneurial venture.
3) If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve?
- If I had to design an exercise relating to this book, I would assign my students with a chapter and make them do a powerpoint presentation on the importance of each chapter (or tip).
4) What was your biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations?
- What surprised me the most about the book was that it actually taught me many lessons I thought I already knew. It brought out a whole new perspective on the ideas I already had familiarization with.

Brad is the owner of a rental biking system in Orlando. He is the owner of multiple companies that serve similar purposes.
- He serves as the domain expert in the industry
- I found him online and been emailing each other ever since
- He did me the favor of sharing his basic model plan for the company. His return is to hopefully help him expand his own product
- He is already established in the market. He will be a great asset.

Jake is an advertising student here at UF. He is a Junior.
- He serves as an expert on my market in regards to customer research.
- I found this person in the library and we exchanged phone numbers.
- He will help me with customer research in exchange for a role in the future company.
- His research skills warrant recognition and can be a great role in attaining customers and future employees for the company.

Tatiana has worked both in retail and has adapted social skills like no one I have ever seen.
- She will be an important supplier to the industry, due to her experience as a saleswoman.
- I found her in the library as well, however, we have known each other for a while now.
- She will help me push my product because of our prior friendship, and in exchange, she wants a piece of the company
- Her work on campus, in her job, and outside campus will deem to be very beneficial for the success of this company.

Final Reflection:
This experience has shaped my understanding of networking in a positive way. Not only did I get out of my comfort zone, but also reestablished friendships in order to reach a greater goal. This experience differed for here I had a specific goal in mind, whereas before I did not.

Assignment 19

1) I am an ambitious individual currently attending the University of Florida. My talents include being a great help to those who need, especially those close to me. My aspirations to use my talents in order to help others. This is why my business idea would fit into my goal, it would help a lot of people with their small commuting needs.

2) I am offering people to be part of an eco-friendly community to not only benefit the environment but also help them with their commuting needs.

3) Anyone can join the Gator RIderz pact. It's the club with no restrictions.

4) They care because it will not only help in the environments longevity but will also facilitate in monthly commuting expenses. Instead of 50 dollars to fill up a gas tank, it would reduce to possibly 80 percent.

5) What sets me apart is that I truly care for all customers. It won't matter what kind of membership they would be in, all customers matter.

I do believe all these elements fit well together. All these elements make up a positive person that not only wants to succeed, but it concerned about everyone else's success. There is always room for improvement for the business and myself are not perfect, however, positive reinforcement is always welcomed.

Feedback Memo- for the people I showed from the original napkin assignment, the two core takeaways were:
- Keep it more concise
- Talk about who you want to help more
I incorporated these aspects into a cohesive abridged blog post as you can see above.

Assignment 17

I think I improved tremendously from the first elevator pitch I had to do. From the clearness and articulation, overall it was better.

What I stood out as important was the delivery of the message. I did not think any feedback was wrong, I was able to adjust my pitch into something better.

I changed the whole approach of the pitch for the better.

Assignment 18

My prototypical customer for Gator Riderz would be any aged working class adult that lives in close proximity of their profession and doesn't feel the need to use their car all the time. An example for Gainesville would be someone who may work in the courthouse and lives in the downtown area. Accessibility to the bike would be easy, and that way they can save on their gas budget. He is a 21-year-old and is just starting in the workforce. He loves intricate TV shows and to go out with friends. He is a starting entrepreneur trying to get involved in plausible freelance work he can find on the side. He uses the extra money to travel.

My avatar and I share the same passion for travel and living and proficiently efficient lifestyle. I don't think it is a coincidence for the similarities because ideally, everyone's avatar may be a reflection of themselves to a certain degree. The two pictures are models for my avatar.
